If you want to keep fabric seats, carpets and other upholstery looking their best, you'll need a few choice items.

Firstly, a dedicated fabric cleaner - Dodo Juice Fibre Reviver 500ml - based on our award-winning intensive leather cleaner formula, but dialled down a little so it can be used on dark alcantara cloth and other materials that may be a bit more delicate or sensitive.

Then, to ramp up the cleaning even further, you'll want our natural bristle Hairy Palm leather and fabric brush. This is perfect for robust materials that need a good scrub to remove dirt that's become deeply ingrained into the fibres or weave. The brush fits into your palm perfectly and can reach into nooks and crannies that cloths can't.

And finally there's Fabricadabra 1 litre spray, a gentle water-based sealant to help keep upholstery cleaner for longer and make it more resistant to stains and marks. Multiple coats will improve effectiveness.

You can also use these products effectively on convertible fabric roofs (soft-tops) to get them clean and seal them - although multiple saturated coats may be needed to increase water repellence of the roof and professional application and preparation may yield better results.

Always test on an inconspicuous area first and start with a colour-fast cloth before switching to a brush if the cleaning effect is inadequate. Avoid overspray droplets and runs using the cleaning spray; spray into a damp cloth and apply consistent light coats only until confident in the robustness of the finish.
