The usual caveat applies, don't put Tarmalade on toast, put it on tar. Have a cup of tea, then wipe it off. The tar, not the tea.

Tar spots clinging on like your last brain cell on a Monday? Tarmalade sticks to the problem so you don’t have to... dab, wipe, done.

  • Tar, rubber marks and glued-on bits vanish without needing to sacrifice surrounding wax or coatings
  • Non-drip paste formula stays where you put it for precise removal
  • Citrus-orange oil base gives a nicer scent and milder touch than harsh solvents
  • Small amounts go a long way, ideal for spot treatment
  1. Apply a small amount directly to the affected area using a soft cloth or foam pad.
  2. Allow it to sit for a few minutes – let the paste break things down.
  3. Gently wipe the area clean with a microfibre cloth.
  4. Rinse with water or follow with a shampoo wash.

Is it safe on all paint finishes?
Yes, on most finishes. Always test a small hidden area first especially if paint is delicate.

How do I use it without mess?
Apply with a clean cloth or pad, work gently, let it dwell briefly, then wipe off or rinse.

Will it remove old wax?
It may remove surface wax in the immediate area where pasted; you’ll likely need to reapply protection afterwards.

How much paste do I need for a single tar spot?
Very little. A pea-sized dab will cover a small spot; larger areas need more but the paste spreads well.
