Ever since Kylie did the Snow Commotion, this foam lance has been top of the detailing charts.

Quick release connector, horizontal or vertical adjustable fan pattern and wide mouth bottle means it ticks all the boxes: premium performance, premium features and premium quality thanks to its brass body.

  • Comes with quick-release for stubby gun owners and Karcher K-Series fitting as standard - for fast setup and removal
  • Additional connectors may be purchased separately, but not all makers of pressure washer are covered, you may need to buy separately from eBay etc.
  • Produces thick, dense foam to help lift dirt early in the wash process (when combined with good water pressure and flow, a good pressure washer and quality snow foam)
  • High build quality and easy to take apart if you need to change the filter in the future (filters are on eBay etc.)
  • Adjustable for vertical/horizontal fan pattern
  • Adjustable detergent flow/dilution plus adjustble fan compression
  • Wide mouth bottle for stability and easy filling
  1. Follow the instructions on the box to assemble your snow foam lance
  2. Fill the wide mouth bottle with approx. 900ml water and 100ml snow foam, if you add the detergent after the water it won't foam as much
  3. Attach bottle, then connect snow foam lance to your Karcher K-Series pressure washer gun using the connector supplied (or use the quick release connector to fit to your stubby gun)
  4. Adjust the top mixture dial and the front blade compression to create the desired foam thickness
  5. Twist the nozzle to change spray pattern from vertical to horizontal, as required
  6. Foam away... after use, rinse a whole bottle of clean water through the lance if using sealant snow foams or the filter may clog
  7. If the lance stops working after a while when it was working fine previously, it may possibly be a blockage in the diptube/body of the lance or it could be a clogged filter; filters can be replaced and the lance is easy to dissemble (see videos on YouTube) and blockages can sometimes loosen if the brass body is soaked in strong detergent overnight
  8. Extend the life of your snow foam lance by ensuring the bottle never has debris in it and that the detergent solution is free from dirt and grit etc. It only takes a speck of dirt to block the internals of a lance...

Will it work with any pressure washer?
Yes, provided the washer has a stubby gun fitted (of the correct type to worth with the supplied quick release) or a suitable adapter. But if you have a Karcher K-series machine, don't worry, these are probably the most common and hook straight up.

Does foam quality drop if water pressure is low?
Yes, poor flow and poor water pressure can result in weak foam - as can a lower end pressure washer. You want to have a 110 bar machine minimum, and even then a 130 bar machine will be better. Adding more detergent and adjusting the settings of a high quality foam lance like the Snow Commotion can sometimes get you through, but if you have a cheap pressure washer that cost less than a tank of fuel, this is going to always inhibit cleaning in general as well as foaming. Try and spend 150-300 gbp on a good pressure washer; the ones under 100 gbp may not be up to the job or always give you underwhelming results.

How do I clean the lance after use?
Fill the lance bottle with clean water, then run this through as if it were foam mixture. This is essential if using a sealant snow foam. If left unrinsed, your foam lance could fail if using a sealant snow foam.

How do you service the snow foam lance?
If you remove the pins in the plastic nozzle/grip, the whole lance comes apart easily to reveal the filter in the brass barrel section; this filter may be contaminated, full of old detergent or limescale deposits - new filters can be purchased on eBay.

Is there a warranty on the Snow Commotion lance?
We give a three month warranty on our snow foam lances to ensure they are working well without a manufactured defect. However, all lances are prone to failure due to dirt ingress, lack of servicing or incorrect use over time, so we don't give an indefinite warranty on this item.
