Jon Bon Jovi released an album called Slippery When Wet - he then applied Red Mist to his 1987 Camero and released a limited pressing called Slippery When Dry. With hits like You Give Gloss a Good Name and Leaving On a Layer.

In short, nothing seals your paint with as much show car gloss in such little time. Slick, quick and legendary.

  • Quick and easy spray-on protection
  • Adds serious gloss and slickness in seconds
  • Ideal for topping up wax or sealant layers after a wash (never use on fresh wax or sealant though)
  • Perfect for last-minute pre-show shine
  1. Spray lightly onto clean, dry paintwork
  2. Wipe over with a soft microfibre cloth; don't let it dwell - especially on hot days
  3. Buff off with a second soft microfibre cloth to level out the shine
  4. Never apply after a fresh coating of wax or sealant has been applied, it's not a detailer (use Mint Condition for that)... make sure the coating is a week or two old after its first wash - then apply Red Mist

How long will protection last?
A little shorter than the strongest liquid sealants or best waxes, maybe 1-2 months... this product is meant for adding gloss and some interim protection. Future Armour is for when you need longer lasting protection but you're happy with slightly less gloss...

Is it safe over wax?
Yes, if the wax is a mature coating - say a week or two old - but no, if the wax is freshly applied. Red Mist has a strong solvent carrier and may inadvertently remove or interfere with fresh waxes or coatings.

Can I use it on textured trim and plastic?
Yes, but wipe off any overspray to reduce sling onto paint.

I left it on white paint on a hot day and there's a pink stain... how do you remove it?
Red Mist can be removed with a strong solvent like Stripp-Ex, or it can be clayed or polished off. The sooner the better. Remember, old degraded paint may be very porous and certain products can sink deeply into the structure of the coating. You won't get the same issues with modern clearcoated finishes. It's always a case of product, process and paint working together to cause an issue (or preventing it!).
