Tony Stark used Iron Gloss on his suits. His painted metal ones. Not his fabric ones, that wouldn't work.

Polymer sealant marvellousness, in a bottle. Slicker than wax, longer lasting than wax. Maybe even glossier than wax on a good day. In fact. it's so good it should be called 'I Can't Believe It's Not Ceramic!'

  • Polymer sealant with great longevity and durability, 6-12+ months depending on car use, care and storage
  • Provides slickness and strong contamination resistance to makes maintenance easier than ever
  • Gives crisp shine and enhanced reflections, although maybe lacks the warm tonality of natural waxes
  • Can double up as wheel sealant due to heat resistance and durability
  1. Apply to clean, dry paint using a soft foam applicator
  2. Wipe on evenly, panel by panel – less is more
  3. Let it cure for a few minutes (but don’t let it dry out)
  4. Buff off gently with a microfibre cloth to reveal the shine
  5. Allow 30 mins then coat again for the sake of coverage, this product can cross-link so 2-4 layers is not only possible but positively encouraged
  6. Try not to let the finish get wet for 24 hours (if you can); the product will do most curing in the first hour or hours, but added moisture won't help it and a day is what it really needs to 'set up' perfectly (note this isn't a deal-breaker, just advice on the optimal application technique!)

How long will it last?
Approximately 6 months under normal daily driving with fortnightly maintenance washes and no top-ups. On a less used or garaged vehicle it may last 12 months or more.

Should I panel-wipe the surface first?
Yes, ideally you would use Dodo Juice Stripp-Ex after the cleaning/decon/polishing stage to remove any glaze oils; this means the sealant adheres to the paint better. You may get a better finish applying over a polish or glaze but Iron Gloss won't last quite as long.

Can it be applied over existing wax or sealant?
Avoid applying over waxes as these can be quite unstable; sealants will be fine but Iron Gloss won't bond as well to slick, coated surfaces.

Does it add warmth like carnauba wax?
No, it produces a crisper, more reflective shine.

Can it be used on wheels?

Yes. Because it is durable and heat resistant it works well on wheels as a protective sealant.

How do I maintain Iron Gloss or top it up?
Just use pH neutral snow foam and shampoo to maintain it, avoid using harsh chemicals. Top it up using Future Armour spray sealant after a couple of months if needed.

How do I remove Iron Gloss?
You shouldn't need to, and it can normally be left to degrade naturally. But if it is a fresh coating, remove with Dodo Juice Stripp-Ex. For mature coatings, wash, clay and polish the surface until the remnants are gone.
