When we launched Future Armour back in 2015 it was cutting edge - fast forward to today and it still is. Clever, huh?

Use it neat as a spray and wipe sealant. Use it on wet paint before drying as a rinse aid. Use it to make your budgie's cage hydrophobic. However you employ it, you'll find that it's versatile and very potent. Don't use too much and buff it well to ensure the best finish.

  • Nano sealant protection that lasts for months
  • Can be applied to wet or dry paint
  • Adds additional gloss, slickness and instant hydrophobicity (water repellence to you and me)
  • Works on paint, glass, plastic and trim for all-over protection
  • Layer it for better coverage and even higher performance

For wet use:

  • Wash the car first, you don't want to seal dirt into the paint
  • After rinsing, mist it onto one panel at a time taking care to avoid overspray droplets (avoid the windscreen in particular, in case of smearing or wiper juddering)
  • Rinse again to 'activate' the sealant and remove excess product
  • Dry the car as normal - this also helps to level the finish and prevent overspray droplets causing shiny high spots

For dry use:

  • Apply to clean panels only
  • Spray lightly onto a clean panel or directly onto the cloth - avoid any kind of overspray
  • Wipe over evenly, then buff with a second cloth after a few moments
  • Avoid over-application – a little goes a long way
  • Leave it 15 mins then give a second buff with another microfibre cloth and Mint Condition detailing spray if you see any hazy or smeary areas
  • Try to avoid getting the car wet for a few hours after application in case it rains; the water could pull excess product off the paint
  • If you overapply the product or have strange streaking or smearing, you can use light abrasion (claying, polishing) to rectify the issue in most cases - or if you are quick enough, Stripp-Ex panelwipe or a very strong tar remover may be enough to fix the problem (a coat of wax over the top may also give a more uniform finish)
  • Overspray 'high spot' droplets will be tougher to shift, use a strong solvent, followed if necessary by claying and polishing

Is it better wet or dry?
Both ways work. Wet application is quicker and more convenient and helps the product spread more easily; dry application gives a more controlled and consistent dose to the panel and perhaps has the edge in ultimate performance.

How long does the sealant last?
Depends on conditions and care, but 2-4 months on a daily driver - maybe more if the panel is well-prepped and the product is layered.

Does it layer over other protection?
Yes, it works well as a top-up layer over existing sealants or waxes - be wary of sealing dirt in, but being water-based means that Future Armour won't strip or interfere with mature coatings.

I've made a mess of application, what can I do?
Future Armour can be removed soon after application with a strong panelwipe/solvent like Dodo Juice Stripp-Ex; if it has fully cured then it will need to be abraded/polished off. Use clay, followed by polishing by hand (Lime Prime etc) then tackle by machine with more aggressive polishing techniques if required. Remember, any defects you see are optical and on top of the paint. Your paint is fine underneath.
