The Switzerland of wheel cleaners – completely neutral, minds its own business, and won't start a war with expensive rims or delicate finishes.

Yet even though it's gentle enough to clean the rarest of wheels, it still gets the job done with a blend of surfactants and neutralised salts.

  • Genuinely pH-neutral formula using neutralised salts and strong detergents
  • Safest option for sensitive wheel finishes (anodised, chrome, magnesium)
  • No colour change chemicals that could potentially stain porous surfaces
  • Gentler cleaning action ideal for regularly maintained and sealed wheels
  • Honest, straightforward cleaning without aggressive chemical reactions
  1. Rinse wheels with a pressure washer to remove loose dirt
  2. Spray Dish Soap onto the wheel face, spokes, barrel and rim, working it in with a wheel brush if needed
  3. Rinse thoroughly with water afterwards

For tar spots, use a dedicated tar remover like Tarmageddon.

Is Dish Soap strong enough to clean dirty wheels?
It can clean filthy wheels but doesn't contain the thioglycolate active ingredient found in Deep Purple to remove iron, relying instead on neutralised salts and detergents. This makes it a gentler cleaner, ideal for sealed or well-maintained wheels.

Will it remove all tar spots?
It helps soften them, but stubborn or baked-on tar will need a dedicated tar remover.

Is it safe on all wheel finishes?
Dish Soap is arguably the safest dedicated wheel cleaner on the market - effectively a supercharged shampoo solution vs harsh acid or alkali cleaners.

How long should I leave it on?
A few minutes should allow it to work, agitate with a brush for better results.
