Soft Touch - plush microfibre drying cloth 60x60cm 600gsm
There's nothing wrong with patting your car down with an old chamois passed down to you from Great Uncle Fred, who used it to dry his Alvis. But why pick on defenceless deer and use their skin for drying paintwork when you could use soft dodo plumage instead? It's even softer than a moist chamois and very absorbent. Plus bambi gets to live another day.
The Soft Touch drying towel is a handy 60cm x 60cm in size, and made from the same super-soft material as the Basics Extra-soft Buffing Cloth.
Please note that although Dodo Juice towels are probably the softest in the known universe, 'pat' drying is always recommended rather than wiping - and a drying detailer like Time to Dry may also help minimise the chance of swirls.
This little video below will show you how to dry your car the Dodo way.
Care of drying towels. All our drying towels are fully machine washable. Wash them with a non-bio liquid at 30 degrees for light soiling or 40 degrees for heavier contamination - or even better, grab some of our Dodo Juice Furry Liquid, which is made for the job. Powders may not dissolve fully and could become caught in the fibres, so liquids are better... and bio detergents may eat the stitching over time. Avoid the use of fabric conditioners or softeners at all costs as these can make drying towels water repellent. If this happens, dry clean the cloth with your tuxedo and duvet next time you are in town, or soak it in a strong APC solution overnight (our Total Wipe Out concentrate is ideal for this). Finally, fluffiness can be restored by tumble drying on a low heat. High heat will damage the fibres. Some clumping/entangling of fibres is natural as the microfibre becomes older - consign old microfibres that are past their best to secondary duties like wheel cleaning.
